Admission Information

Choosing a school can be a lengthy and tricky process and often we rely on the advice of friends, family and parents. We are very lucky to have a supportive school community at Oughtrington Primary. Here are a few quotes from parents who have made Oughtrington their school of choice:

Applying for a Place

Applications for admission into Oughtrington Primary School are dealt with by Warrington Borough Council Admissions team.

Parents applying for a school place for Reception in 2025 should submit their application via the link below by 15th January 2025.

Reception September 2025

If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, they are due to start Reception class in September 2025. The closing date to apply for your child to start Reception in September 2025 is January 2025. Applications for Reception places  will open in September 2024.
